Launched in 2022, Phonak Audeo Lumity hearing aids include the new SmartSpeech technology. This focuses on giving you improved speech understanding as well as reduced listening effort in the various listening environments you find yourself in.
Audeo Lumity brings some improvements to past Phonak hearing aid ranges (when compared to Marvel). For example, better clarity in background noise and motion sensors, and listening technology give you more focus on sound in 360 degrees.
Enjoy hands-free calls, and universal connectivity with both iOS and Android smartphones, and the convenience of pairing to Phonak accessories and devices. This means you can seamlessly connect to all your favorite Bluetooth devices at home - hassle-free.
Gain from clarity and speech in noise processing with Phonak Audeo Lumity hearing aids. Lumity's StereoZoom 2.0 and SpeechSensor features offer an advanced background noise experience compared to any previous Phonak technology.
SpeechSensor carefully analyses your environment, emphasising the main speech signal for improved clarity. Meanwhile, StereoZoom prioritises the person you want to hear, effectively minimising background noise.
Phonak Lumity hearing aids provide various features to cater to your specific hearing and lifestyle needs. With motion sensors and advanced technology, Phonak hearing aids function effectively without requiring any adjustments from your side.
However, for those who prefer customisation, Phonak offers flexible options to personalise your hearing experience.
Coming only a few months after their last major product launch (Audeo Life and Audeo Fit) and replacing some of those newly released products, such as the 2nd generation waterproof model - Audeo Life, this launch was rather unexpected.
These digital hearing aids are very similar in appearance to the previous range, the Phonak Paradise platform. Apart from a few minor features, they are close to identical. The processing chip and all of the hardware are the same as Paradise which showed improvements since Marvel.

Phonak Lumity appears to make some improvements since Paradise, such as managing noise with the directional microphones and the new SoundSpeech technology which improves speech understanding in noisy environments and reduces listening effort. However, there are no earth-shattering improvements when comparing both the Paradise and Marvel hearing aid ranges.
Arguably, this is why we think these small changes should have just been a free software update to the current Paradise models, rather than being introduced as a new model.
That being said, the Phonak Audeo Lumity hearing aid range will no doubt be well received by loyal Phonak consumers, as it offers advanced Bluetooth streaming, convenient remote care, powerful sound algorithms, and an intelligent hearing aid receiver - ActiveVent.
