Specsavers Hearing Centres are the largest retailer of hearing aids in the UK. They employ about 150 dispensers who operate from around 400 locations – usually Specsavers opticians.
ReadAmplifon are one of the larger national retailers and operate in 18 countries. Their global head office is in Milan, Italy. In the UK they are based near Manchester (close to the airport). They have about 140 branches and employ around 100 dispensers.
ReadIt is important to understand that just because you have heard the name of a retailer, it does not necessarily mean they are your best choice for products and service. When purchasing hearing aids, you have the option of two different kinds of retailer, there is the high street retailers or you could visit a local independent hearing aid dispenser.
