Paul Harrison is a highly experienced audiology professional with over 20 years in the industry, covering both the manufacturing and retail sides of hearing care. He earned his degree in audiology from the University of Cambridge, and since then has held a variety of roles in both technical and commercial areas.
Paul’s career began with one of the world’s largest hearing aid manufacturers, where he took on multiple leadership positions. Starting as a trainer, he developed educational programs for audiologists, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide premium care.
He later became a Product Manager, overseeing the development and launch of innovative hearing aid solutions.
His strategic thinking and product experience led him to the role of Sales Director, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s market presence and building strong relationships with key partners. Transitioning to the retail sector, Paul became the National Sales Manager for a major hearing aid retailer.
In this role, he was responsible for managing sales teams across multiple regions, using strategies to improve customer service, and ensuring that hearing aid wearers received personalised care and support. His ability to balance the commercial and clinical aspects of the business made him an invaluable leader in driving the company’s success.
In addition to his leadership roles, Paul has remained actively involved in patient care, at Hearing Aid UK, dispensing hearing aids as a private audiologist and collaborating with medical content in his spare time. From 2015 to 2020, he served on the Council of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA), contributing to the organisation’s efforts to promote excellence in hearing care.
